About The Position

The Hotel Housekeeping Lead is responsible for ensuring guest rooms meet Z Casino standards for cleanliness and quality. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, inspecting rooms, reporting deficiencies, and ensuring the safe use of chemicals and equipment. The position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to direct the actions of subordinates. This role is physically demanding and requires complete mobility.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of Housekeeping department policies and procedures.
• Ability to learn detailed inspection routines.
• Ability to direct work of subordinates.
• Minimum of six months housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service, positively affecting interactions with external and internal customers and employees.
• Inspects guestrooms for cleanliness and quality, ensuring Z Casino standards.
• Reports rooms ready for occupancy.
• Ensures guest rooms, linen rooms, and maid carts are set up in a standardized manner as required by current Z Casino policy.
• Directs the actions of floor personnel as outlined by the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Hotel Manager.
• Assigns breaks for the Housekeeping personnel assigned to their floors.
• Responsible for supervision of assigned subordinates, which may include In-Room Refreshment Center Attendants, as well as Room Attendants and House persons.
• Reports room and hall deficiencies, maintenance, and work orders; follows up to completion.
• Ensures safe and proper use of chemicals and equipment.
• Assist in room attendant and IRRC attendant functions as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
