About The Position

The housekeeping's mission is to create a clean and luxurious experience by keeping the Hotel organized so that it has a good presentation. Continuously raising the level of the guest's experience and exceed the expectations.

Requirements

  • knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
  • knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
  • working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
  • physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
  • ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 50lbs)

Responsibilities

  • maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the guest's room and common areas
  • organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures
  • distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand
  • restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies
  • replace dirty linens with clean items
  • store all dirty laundry in line with company policy
  • collaborate with other hotel staff members to ensure efficient operations
  • check all appliances in rooms are in working order
  • realign furniture and amenities according to safety protocols
  • maintaining a friendly and authentic tone when taking request
  • respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
  • responding to guest request promptly and fulfilling them on time
  • organize and restock cart at the end of the shift
  • ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
  • follow all company safety and security procedures
  • report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
  • observe and report damage of hotel property
  • Declining a request politely if it goes against hotel policies
  • distribute supplies to room as needed per request of guest, pillows, towels, blankets, rollaway, toiletry supplies, pack and play
  • clean guest rooms in a timely manner
