Manages hotel to ensure efficient and profitable operation by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the hotel, using effective leadership skills to drive revenue, maximize profits, and ensure quality. This role involves effectively managing and motivating associates to ensure achievement of overall financial results, guest, and associate satisfaction. The General Manager also acts as a champion of the hotel’s internal and external communications and record keeping, ensuring that corporate, divisional, and department policies and procedures are adhered to at all levels.
