About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead the daily operations of a Marriott-branded hotel in the Tampa area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands Marriott standards, systems, guest service, and hotel financial performance. Marriott hotel experience is required.

Requirements

• Previous management experience at a Marriott-branded hotel
• Working knowledge of Marriott systems and operating procedures
• Experience with Marriott reservations, property management, guest service, and reporting systems
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, labor management, budgeting, and P&L performance
• Proven ability to lead and develop hotel teams
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on hotel needs

Nice To Haves

• Previous General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, or Rooms leadership experience
• Experience with Marriott select-service brands such as Courtyard, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Residence Inn, or similar
• Marriott brand training and certification

Responsibilities

• Lead daily hotel operations and ensure Marriott brand standards are consistently met
• Manage and support Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other operating departments
• Recruit, train, coach, and hold department leaders and team members accountable
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond quickly to service issues
• Manage labor, departmental expenses, purchasing, and operating costs
• Review daily revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labor, and operational reports
• Maintain strong Marriott brand compliance and prepare the hotel for brand inspections
• Work closely with Sales and Revenue Management to maximize hotel performance
• Maintain a safe, clean, professional environment for guests and employees
• Communicate effectively with ownership and the management company
