About The Position

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the front office operations of the hotel while providing support to the management team. The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Cleveland/Solon is conveniently located just a short ride from downtown Cleveland and offers 120 suites for guests to relax. The hotel is easily accessible to MGM Northfield Park, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and the historic Chagrin falls.

Requirements

  • Customer Service experience, in a hotel setting preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.

Nice To Haves

  • Hotel Brand experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in overseeing guest services and front office operations, ensuring superior service is a priority.
  • Fosters a positive, cooperative work environment between front office staff and management.
  • Supervises front office team, including planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • Greets guests and completes the check-in/check-out procedure through the Property Management System, obtaining and storing pertinent information.
  • Takes reservations from incoming callers, inputs all information into the hotel management system, and updates/cancels reservations as requested.
  • Handles cash, credit card information, and goods at the property.
  • Identifies guest needs and provides relevant information regarding hotel services and amenities to create an accommodating environment.
  • Responds to all guest requests in a timely manner.
