About The Position

Homewood Suites by Hilton -Boston/Canton-50 Royall Street, Canton, MA 02021 is currently looking for front desk agents to join their Team! This hotel has 98 spacious suites with full kitchens. It is located just south of Boston, with easy access to Boston via the nearby 128 train. Gillette Stadium and Legacy Place are a 15-minute drive away. The Blue Hills Reservation and Trillium Brewing are less than a mile away. Guests can enjoy a self-serve beer and wine station and complimentary breakfast every morning. The Homewood Suites is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. The Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel, and provides superior service to all guests.

Requirements

• Customer Service experience, in a hotel setting preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
• Must have valid drivers license, and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.

Nice To Haves

• Hilton experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests, complete the check- in/ check-out procedure through the Property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handles cash, credit card information and goods at the property
• Identifying the needs of each guest and provides relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities, to create an accommodating environment for all.
• Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations from incoming callers while providing excellence in service and inputs all information into the hotel management system.
• Updates and cancels reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
