Hotel Evening Maintenance Technician
About The Position
The Best Western Plus Sports Complex is seeking a motivated, reliable Evening Maintenance Technician to join our team! This position is primarily focused on performing preventative maintenance duties in hotel guest rooms to ensure our facilities remain in top condition. Since this role typically works independently during the evening hours, we need a true self-starter who takes initiative and works well without constant supervision. You will report directly to the General Manager. Looking for a great side hustle? Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a similar field (apartment maintenance, building facilities, handyman work) strongly preferred.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance in guest rooms (e.g., minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC filter changes, drywall repairs, lighting, and general fixtures).
- Respond promptly to any evening maintenance requests or urgent guest room repairs.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to identify and resolve potential issues proactive.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure tools/supplies are properly stored.
- Report daily progress and any major repairs needed directly to the General Manager.
