Hotel Concierge - Courtyard by Marriott Sedona
About The Position
The Courtyard by Marriott Sedona is in search of a vibrant, knowledgeable and detail oriented Concierge. This position requires a person who is well versed in the local Sedona market, familiar with tour offerings, local attractions and restaurants, and passionate about helping guests have the best possible experience while visiting. A sales and service background is a strong plus as this position works both proactively and reactively to encourage guests to engage in the use of the concierge services. This position does require both weekend and evening availability weekly. This is a commission based position, paid an hourly rate with an unlimited potential for commissions based on bookings made. Your earning potential will be up to you based on the level of proactive work you choose to put into it.
Requirements
- One-year related experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Working with local tour companies to learn about all current and upcoming tour offerings guest can take part in.
- Communication with guests regarding available activities and make reservation with tour companies and restaurants.
- Proactively engage with guests throughout the hotel common areas to uncover new business.
- Work hand in hand with the Sales team, attending local area mixers and other networking opportunities.
- Assist with the front desk during high demand times as needed and as applicable.
- Respond to guest inquiries via both phone and email in a timely manner
