About The Position

The Hotel Assistant Manager will manage daily hotel operations to a 4-star level of service delivery, with oversight of Housekeeping and Front Desk. This role requires the ability to report daily ADR, room occupancy, and forecasting, and to maintain and update night audit procedures as necessary for business operations. The position involves providing leadership, coaching, training, and development of subordinates, managing budgets and financial plans including cost controls, and setting and achieving sales and profit targets. The Assistant Manager will address problems and troubleshoot, coordinate with other departments, and address and resolve customer service needs. Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations is crucial. The role also involves ensuring accurate staffing levels and cover for all shifts, creating, modifying, and coaching to superior guest service standards, and handling guest issues and complaints efficiently and professionally. The Assistant Manager will coach, counsel, and manage departments efficiently, ensuring all department policies and procedures are followed. Advanced proficiency in computer systems, identifying system issues, and working towards resolution is required. The role includes training or overseeing the training of new team members, evaluating and implementing refresher courses, and addressing policy violations amongst staff. The Assistant Manager will also assist with housekeeping as needed.

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a hotel required
  • Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license
  • Must be frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk and hear
  • May need to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second-hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights

  • 2-4 years Hotel Supervisor Experience preferred
