About The Position

We want an individual that wants to jump in head-first to our transportation department and enhance our distribution capabilities. The Hot Shot Driver supports our customers by delivering products on time and accurately. Products include both gas and liquid cylinders, dry ice, and hard goods. Our drivers are motivated individuals who obey all the rules, regulations, and safety concerns associated with the handling and transporting hazardous material while maintaining a clean motor vehicle record.

Requirements

CDL Class B with Hazmat Endorsement
Must have High School education or equivalent
Clean MVR with record of safe driving
Basic computer and digital tools skills
Strong track record of being safe
Hands-on, able to lift up to 70lbs, and handle physically demanding work, and work in all weather conditions

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of geographic area of the Front Range, preferred
Previous experience driving and making deliveries, preferred

Resource and resolve problems effectively
Approach work duties in a consistent and systematic manner

Responsibilities

Operate a wide variety of non-CMV vehicles safely.
Ensure each load is secure, as well as accurate.
Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections.
Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Work with little supervision.
Operate electronic and digital tools as needed
Recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
Perform each delivery in a safe manner, including the use of all PPE.
Represent the company through professional conduct on and off the road.
Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, and management.
Be willing to do pickup and delivery of parts, drivers, trucks, and products.
Drive in any weather condition safely
Clean, organize and maintain vehicle condition
Ensure delivery process is completed safely and through completion
Other duties as assigned
