About The Position

The Hot Food Packing team member I works Under close supervision and following the appropriate GMP’s the employee performs a full range of product packaging assignments using supervisor or other higher-level Management guidance to assure that all products leave the plant in compliance with consumer expectations. Del Real Foods is a traditional Mexican food manufacturer born out of a family farm. Today, Del Real Food makes tamales, carnitas, salsas, and other recipes inspired by the Cardenas' native Jalisco -- all created by hand with fresh ingredients and nothing artificial. Requirements

• Must be responsible and fast learner.
• Knowledgeable in mathematics
• Must have good organization skills
• Able to read write
• Minimum 1 year experience on the field (Food Industry is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Follow all employee safety procedures
• Weigh and package product in conformance to specifications.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions
• Check date codes stamped, and weight information against the daily schedule.
• Ensure finished product is properly sealed.
• Assist packing team in the completion of their orders:
• Must have a positive attitude when helping peers, leaders, or supervisors.
• Clean and maintain assigned area in safe sanitary condition, ensuring product safety
• Verify that equipment is in good working condition and reports to his/her immediate supervisor when issues arise.
• Remain in designated work areas
• Informs immediate supervisor/Lead person when product is out of specification and when non-conformances occur.
• Takes immediate corrective action when non-conformances occur, which includes reporting any problems to his/her immediate supervisor.
• Follow the company’s allergen program
