About The Position
The host/hostess welcomes guests with a smile and seats them according to their requests, maintains seating chart and monitors flow to ensure restaurant is full, and maintains cleanliness of the lobby and restrooms.
Requirements
- Valid Health Certificate.
- Able to anticipate and understand customer’s needs.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication expertise.
- Ability to work as a team and independently.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Responsibilities
- Greets guests, manages wait times, and coordinates seating with urgency and friendliness while leading a welcoming lobby experience in accordance with Outback hospitality standards.
- Smiles and has genuine conversations with guests.
- Makes memorable first and last impressions.
- Ensures lobby area is properly set up for each service, to include keeping trash bins, dining and surrounding areas clean.
- Follows directions by board runner and Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Provides children with crayons and coloring books.
- Wipes and rolls silverware.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
