Part-time Hostess
About The Position
The Dining Services team at Atlantic Shores is looking for a Hostess to join their organized team. This is a part-time, entry-level position where team members work together to ensure residents have an enjoyable dining experience. High school and college students are welcome to apply. Flexible shifts are available seven days a week. The Hostess position is responsible for providing professional, efficient, accurate, and friendly service to residents in accordance with established standards. This role involves greeting and seating patrons, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, adhering to sanitation and safety procedures, using professional communication skills, answering menu questions, and taking food orders.
Requirements
- Entry level - no experience necessary.
- Prior food service or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to interact with residents, kitchen staff, and dining team members.
- Organization and time-management skills.
- Must have reliable transportation to work and be punctual.
- Positive attitude and teamwork.

Responsibilities
- Greet residents and seat patrons.
- Take orders and process them through a Point of Sales system.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area throughout the shift.
- Adhere to sanitation and safety procedures.
- Use professional communication skills and answer menu questions while taking food orders.
- Work as a team to provide a friendly and enjoyable dining experience.
