About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic Host/Hostess with a genuine sense of warmth and hospitality to join our team!

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Host at upscale restaurants
• A welcoming personality and a true passion for hosting
• Integrity and the ability to make decisions on your feet
• The ability to speak clearly and articulately on the telephone, providing information and answering questions for callers, while focusing on etiquette and conveying a sense of calm
• Experience with reservation systems such as OpenTable
• Professional, polished, and personable demeanor

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and enthusiastically immediately as they enter the restaurant.
• Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Manage party sizes, reservations, and wait lists to handle guest needs, accurately quote wait times, and maintain the flow of the restaurant.
• Answer the telephone in a pleasant manner and respond appropriately to all inquiries.
• Assist with handling takeout orders. Ensure timeliness, accuracy, organization, and payment.
• Thank guests for visiting as they depart the restaurant and inquire about their experience.
• Properly communicate guest complaints with a sense of urgency, poise, and good judgment to our Management Team.
• Complete any assigned opening, side work, and closing duties to set your team up for success.
• Stock, clean, and organize the guest service stand.
