About The Position
The host/hostess welcomes guests with a smile and seats them according to their requests, maintains seating chart and monitors flow to ensure restaurant is full, and maintains cleanliness of the lobby and restrooms.
Requirements
- Able to anticipate and understand customer’s needs.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication expertise.
- Ability to work as a team and independently.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Responsibilities
- Sets up lobby area before service time.
- Leads the lobby experience for each Guest following Outback hospitality standards.
- Greets Guests, coordinates the wait time, and seats Guests with a sense of urgency and friendliness.
- Smiles and has genuine conversations with Guests.
- Follows directions by board runner and Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Provides children with crayons and coloring books.
- Ensures the lobby area, trash bins, dining and surrounding areas are clean.
- Makes memorable first and last impressions.
- Wipes and rolls silverware.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
