About The Position
SUMMARY BITES & BREWS is located within 814 Lanes and Games. You will greet guests at the door with a warm welcome and a smile. You will assist in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant. The Host/Hostess sets the stage for a positive dining experience, engaging in friendly conversation with guests.
Requirements
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- To perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Must be 16 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Greets guests as they enter, and adds them to the waiting list as necessary.
- Provides guests with menus and answers any initial questions.
- Seats guests at tables or in waiting areas.
- Assigns guests to tables that they prefer, while considering proper table rotation so that servers receive the correct number of customers.
- Engages with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
- Efficiently and accurately responds to customer complaints, and assists in resolving them.
- Answers phone calls, takes reservations, and answers general questions.
- Ensures that food health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
- Maintains a clean workstation and dining area, to include removal of trash.
- Reports kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
