Requirements

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in similar role preferred
• Team player
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, etc.
• Basic mathematical skills as needed to make change and give refunds
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with a warm and genuine welcome
• Escort guests to tables while engaging naturally and confidently
• Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations
• Acknowledge guests upon departure and invite them to return
• Manage reservations using OpenTable or designated platform
• Maintain an accurate seating chart and balanced table rotation
• Assist with watering tables, clearing plates, and resetting tables as needed
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas
• Inspect dining room and service stations for readiness and cleanliness
• Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, and management regarding table status and flow
• Support property activities and assist with event setup when needed
• Assist with basic transactions and closing duties when assigned
• Perform additional duties as directed by management
