Requirements

1+ year of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
A high school diploma or GED
Professional presence and a naturally welcoming personality
A love for details and a calm under pressure
Strong communication skills — in person and over the phone
Passion for teamwork and an eye for guest satisfaction
A knack for problem-solving and thinking ahead

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with warmth, using their names when known
Take and manage reservations like a pro
Maintain a tidy and stylish host station
Communicate clearly with servers and managers to ensure a seamless dining experience
Share knowledge about daily specials, menus, and wine offerings
Manage guest expectations with finesse, even during high-volume moments
Assist the restaurant team to ensure tables are perfectly prepped and guests leave delighted
