Our granite and polished bronze bar tops invite guests to savor one of our many signature cocktails, while our exhibition-style kitchens provide a glimpse into the culinary expertise of our team. With dishes ranging from tangy crispy ribs and fresh garden salads to a mouthwatering prime rib dip, our menu offers something for everyone. The Host responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. You should also be available to work in shifts & maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills
Must have a current food handler’s card
RBS card (if over 18 years of age)
California workplace harassment training and/or any additional training required by law

Nice To Haves

Restaurant experience desirable, but not required
To be considered for this role, you should be available to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Ability to work up to 8-10 hours per day

Responsibilities

Welcome guests to the restaurant with a smile
Provide accurate wait times, monitor waiting lists and manage guest reservations
Escort guests to assigned dining or bar areas
Provide menus to guests and announce server’s name
Greet customers upon their departure
Coordinate with management about available seating options by updating table statuses on the tablet regularly
Maintain a clean reception area and clean host stand
Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.x. children, elderly)
Answer incoming calls and address customer queries
Assist management or server staff when necessary
