About The Position

Veekoo is searching for highly motivated and outgoing individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position is perfect for local high school and college students seeking a part-time position during the semester.

Requirements

1 year of hosting experience required
Weekend availability required, on rotating basis
Dinner shift availability required, on rotating basis (4pm - 8-9pm)
Ability to commute to Bryn Mawr, PA 19010

Nice To Haves

Lunch shift availability preferred, on rotating basis

Responsibilities

Warmly greet all guests upon arrival
Answer phones, manage reservations, and take/relay messages
Input phone and online orders into POS system
Process gift cards
When immediate seating is limited, provide guests with an estimated waiting time
Take note of where guests are waiting and seat them when tables become available
Maintain a professional, courteous attitude when confronted with impatient guests
Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
Relay guest notes to servers, kitchen and managers as needed
Ensure the front of the restaurant (entrance hallway/doors) are clear of trash, swept and windows are clean.
Clean menus of food and stains
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, closing and opening as directed
Assist with packaging takeout orders accurately and efficiently for pickup or delivery
