About The Position

The purpose of this role is to greet guests with a warm and welcoming environment, to assist with any menu questions and to-go orders. Essential duties may include but are not limited to extending a warm and friendly greeting to all guests, explaining menu items and answering product questions, taking food and drink orders accurately, maintaining a positive and professional approach, relaying correct orders to kitchen personnel, packaging food and drinks, completing side work, and supporting other restaurant staff. The role also requires following grooming standards and communicating openly and honestly.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:
Walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for:
Making observations
Communicating with others
Reading and writing

Responsibilities

Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all guest.
Explain menu items and answer product question as raised by guest
Take food and drink orders from guest accurately and with a positive attitude
Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and guests
Relay the correct order to kitchen personnel or staff
Engage with guests in a friendly manner
Package food and drinks for the guest in a timely manner
Complete all side work which includes various cleaning tasks (busing tables, rolling silverware, etc.)
Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks as needed
Must follow the guidelines stated in the grooming standards policy
Communicate openly, timely and honestly with subordinates, superiors and all others about plans, progress and problems.
