About The Position

As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience, ensuring our guests feel welcome, valued, and well taken care of. The ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, and efficient, with a passion for fine dining and customer service excellence.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale hospitality environment preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of restaurant reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) is a plus
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a memorable first impression of the restaurant.
• Manage reservations and efficiently assign guests to tables, considering preferences, dining flow, and ensuring timely seating.
• Take and confirm reservations over the phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Answer guest inquiries regarding the menu, wine list, and restaurant policies, offering helpful recommendations and assisting with special requests.
• Maintain an organized waitlist, ensuring guests are informed of estimated wait times and offering a pleasant waiting experience.
• Ensure the front-of-house areas (host station, lobby, etc.) are neat, tidy, and presentable at all times.
• Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest flow and exceptional service.
• Promote specials, events, or offers to guests and assist in enhancing the overall dining experience.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive resolution while maintaining the high standards of the restaurant.
