About The Position

LOTTE HOTEL SEATTLE is hiring passionate and talented hospitality professionals to join our journey in Seattle and share a great story that pursues love, freedom, and life to move the hearts of our guests. We are seeking professionals who are looking for a place that inspires them, challenges them, and makes them proud of where they work. The purpose of this position is to greet customers as they enter a restaurant, take their reservation or put them on a waiting list, give them menus and show them to their seat. They may also handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu and assist various restaurant staff when necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent preferred
  • Experience in food & beverage services
  • Washington State food handlers permit preferred
  • MAST 12 beverage service permit preferred
  • Must possess basic computer skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to receive instructions and make reports with accuracy
  • Must show basic computer proficiency such as with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Must be knowledgeable about applicable laws regarding the operation of hotels and restaurants
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
  • Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, AM, PM, overnight and overtime when needed

Responsibilities

  • Greets customers as they enter a restaurant
  • Takes reservations or puts customers on a waiting list
  • Gives customers menus
  • Shows customers to their seats
  • Handles phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu
  • Assists various restaurant staff when necessary
