About The Position

Bistro Bella Vita, part of Essence Hospitality, is looking for energetic Seating Coordinator team members (hosts) to help deliver an exceptional dining experience in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. This role is ideal for someone who loves working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
• Treat guests in a manner to ensure their expectations are exceeded
• Utilize RESY for reservations and the seating program
• Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
• Take guest information and quote wait times accurately when tables are not immediately available
• Clean, organize, and stock menus at host area
• Answer questions concerning the menu and restaurant over the phone
• Interact with incoming guests and departing guests, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Fill to go orders if applicable
• Maintain restrooms throughout the shift
• Perform other duties as assigned
