About The Position

Husk is seeking a warm, professional, and organized Host to serve as the first and lasting impression for guests at its downtown Nashville restaurant. Husk celebrates Southern cuisine through an ingredient-driven menu focused on heirloom products and local traditions. The position offers a competitive hourly rate plus tips; stated pay averages include tips, fluctuate with business levels, are not guaranteed, and tips are given at guests’ discretion.

Requirements

• Be friendly, polished, and guest-focused.
• Be organized, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Be comfortable using reservation systems.
• Be a team player who communicates clearly and positively.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with OpenTable or Resy is a plus.
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with genuine hospitality and professionalism.
• Manage reservations and walk-ins using a reservation platform.
• Communicate wait times clearly and accurately.
• Coordinate efficient, thoughtful seating to maximize service flow.
• Support the front-of-house team to ensure a smooth guest experience.
