About The Position

The Fairmont Austin is seeking a Full-Time Host to join their Food & Beverage team. This role reports to the Revue Manager and is responsible for providing a professional, friendly greeting and engaging service to guests. The Host will also need to understand server tasks, shift end reports, and the POS system. Additionally, they will assist guests with menu inquiries, demonstrate knowledge of all menu items, and adhere to outlet policies, safety, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer a professional, friendly greeting and engaging service
• Understand the Server’s tasks in the outlet
• Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the POS system
• Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Other duties as assigned
