About The Position

Lookout Tavern, a modern social tavern in North Phoenix, is seeking a friendly and professional Host to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, the ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment, and have a positive and upbeat attitude. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting customers, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and ensuring that the front of house runs smoothly. In addition a major part of your daily tasks are assisting with order take-outs and 3rd party delivery management.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a host or in a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Greet customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Manage delivery and to-go orders through our 3rd party delivery partners
Manage reservations and maintain the waitlist accurately.
Monitor the flow of traffic in the restaurant to ensure timely seating of guests.
Assist servers with table assignments and distributing menus.
Provide guests with information about menu offerings and daily specials.
Ensure that the host stand and surrounding areas are kept clean and organized.
Address customer concerns and complaints in a professional manner.
