About The Position

North High Brewing is looking for exceptional Servers to join our fast growing team! You’ll be serving creatively classic dishes, drinks, and craft beers in our restaurant alongside a crew of amazing people. As a North High Brewing Host, you are expected to create exceptional experiences for our guests! As a host, you are the first person our guests encounter as they enter the restaurant! Therefore, you must be willing to bring an upbeat and friendly attitude as you seat them at their reserved or assigned table. The host must also book reservations over the phone and in-person using Open Table. If you are passionate about service, enjoy going above and beyond for customers, and a natural-people-person, this job is for you!

Requirements

• Ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedules, as weekend and extended workdays are necessary.
• Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs.
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, push, pull, reach, crouch, kneel, crawl or bend, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists. (Indoor & Outdoor)
• Must be able to carry up to 30lbs.

• Excellent organization and coordination skills.
• Previous host or serving experience preferred.
• Interest in learning about craft beer and food!

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean host stand and front entrance.
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the building.
• Seat guests according to their reservation or availability of tables.
• Provide guests with appropriate menus, and articulate next steps.
• Answer the phone to take reservations, to-go orders and answer general questions.
• Follow other job-related instructions and perform any other job-related duties requested by their supervisor.
