About The Position

Are you seeking an affordable way to live in one of Colorado's most breathtaking mountain towns? Look no further than Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa, situated on 6,500 acres of pristine wilderness at the base of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Our subsidized staff housing, featuring shared living spaces, makes it feasible for qualified candidates to reside in this picturesque setting while enjoying easy access to epic outdoor activities year-round. Whether you prefer skiing and snowboarding in the winter or hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and horseback riding during warmer seasons, Devil’s Thumb Ranch offers unparalleled opportunities to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Colorado. The host/hostess is responsible for controlling reservations, taking phone calls for Heck’s or Ranch House Restaurants at Devil’s Thumb Ranch and seating guests. The host/hostess is the initial contact with the guests and the first person to start guests off with a positive experience. In addition, as a Devil’s Thumb Ranch host/hostess, you will be assuming the role of tour guide, communicator, decision-maker, entertainer, curator and rancher (at heart). Please note that this role may involve placements in Heck's Tavern, Ranch House Restaurant, Volario's, Café Giocondo, or on our Banquets team. Our collaborative environment aims to provide growth opportunities for all employees, and while preferences are welcome, placements will be based on operational needs and skill sets. You may indicate your preferences in your application notes or during your first interview. We appreciate your understanding and interest in joining our team.
