About The Position
The Host position is about ensuring the guest dining experience, as a whole, is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant. This role is responsible for taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and thanking guests as they depart. The Host will also assign tables pre-shift, provide servers with appropriate chits, answer phones, and direct calls. Additional duties include opening and closing side work, such as cleaning, stocking, and setting up the host stand for the next shift.
