About The Position
The Host welcomes every Guest who enters the restaurant and helps create a warm, hospitable experience. The role includes managing the wait list, answering and directing telephone calls, communicating Guest concerns to the Manager, and supporting fellow Team Members when appropriate. Hosts also contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. This position requires a friendly, caring attitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. No experience is necessary. The role is available with a flexible part-time or full-time schedule.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring attitude, ready to greet Guests with a smile.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
- No experience necessary.
Responsibilities
- Give a warm welcome to every Guest.
- Manage the wait list.
- Communicate Guest concerns to the Manager when appropriate.
- Answer the telephone within three rings and direct calls.
- Help fellow Team Members when appropriate.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
