About The Position
Crowne Plaza North Augusta is seeking a friendly, professional, and guest-focused Host to join our Food and Beverage team. As the first point of contact for restaurant guests, the Host plays an essential role in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. The Host will greet and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists, answer questions about the restaurant, and communicate effectively with servers and other team members to support smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, attentive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, delivering exceptional service, and helping create memorable experiences for every guest.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally as they arrive.
- Manage reservations and walk-ins using a reservation system or waitlist app.
- Seat guests in a timely and organized manner, based on table availability and server rotation.
- Provide menus and inform guests of any specials or wait times.
- Answer phone calls and assist with questions, takeout orders, or booking requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front entrance.
- Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Monitor dining room activity and guest satisfaction.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
- Other duties as assigned.
