About The Position

Chesapeake's is looking for a Host to join their West Knoxville location! This individual has great communication skills and for all intents and purposes has never met a stranger. He/She will oversee the layout of the restaurant and make sure tables are cleared and reset. They greet each Guest with a smile and a welcome, explain and direct our system of seating, and is also in charge of communicating volume levels to Management and Staff. The TO GO Host position is attained after successful Host duty execution or GM approval and requires a pleasant phone voice and etiquette, excellent menu knowledge, and the ability to multi-task and assist regular Hosts as needed. This role involves entering and exiting the building numerous times to service To Go Guests in their cars and operating handheld payment devices and cash when necessary.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate good math and communication skills
• Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. frequently
• Position requires standing, bending, and walking the entire workday
• Works well in a group and under some stress
• Must have excellent menu knowledge
• Must be able to operate handheld payment devises and cash when necessary
• Be able to multi-task
