About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our resident, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will be key to your success in this position. Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or guest services role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
• Ability to Relocate: Palo Alto, CA 94306: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

• Greet resident warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage the reservation system and maintain an organized waitlist.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service.
• Provide resident with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
• Assist in managing guest flow during peak hours to enhance the dining experience.
• Handle resident inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Support food service operations as needed, including assisting servers during busy periods.
