About The Position

Red Robin Kelowna is hiring Hosts to join our front-of-house team. If you’re friendly, dependable, and enjoy working with people, this is a great opportunity to get started in the restaurant industry. Previous restaurant experience is not required — we’ll train you. As a Host, you’ll be one of the first people our guests meet. You’ll welcome guests, manage seating and wait times, and work with the rest of the restaurant team to help create a smooth, enjoyable experience.

• Experience in restaurants, retail, customer service, hospitality, or another guest-facing role is welcome

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional way
• Managing the waitlist and providing accurate wait-time estimates
• Seating guests and helping maintain an organized table rotation
• Communicating with Servers and restaurant leaders to help manage guest flow
• Answering guest questions and assisting with general restaurant information
• Answering restaurant phone calls when needed
• Keeping the entrance, host area, and waiting area clean and welcoming
• Helping the front-of-house team during busy periods
• Providing friendly and helpful service throughout your shift
