About The Position

Requirements

Flexibility when working alternating shifts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills including dealing with difficult and rude patrons.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with local areas with the ability to provide directions and maps to local attractions and destinations.
Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
Must be able to lift fifty pounds at a time.
Requires standing for extended periods of time.
Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or Ged preferred.
Prior Restaurant experience preferred.
Prior Hosting Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet incoming guests when they enter and exit the restaurant and acknowledge each guest by name.
Take reservations.
Answer incoming phone calls.
Seat guests.
Assist servers.
Serve food (if required).
Regularly check cleanliness of restrooms.
Observe and report any potential issues in the bar, parking lot, and restaurant area to management.
Assist customers with any difficulties or escalating problems to management.
Additional duties as assigned.
