About The Position

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a Host for The Charmant Hotel. This role is part-time and involves ensuring guests have a lasting impression. The Host will serve customers, provide information for seating and to-go orders, and act as the first impression of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a positive personality and a competitive spirit, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Requirements

Basic math skills required, must be able to add, subtract, and count change back to customer.
Legible handwriting.
Strong customer service and oral communication skills.
Must be 16 years or older.
Basic computer skills.
U.S. Work Authorization (required).

Will train appropriate candidates.

Responsibilities

Greet guests as they arrive and take them to their seats.
Provide a menu and explain specials.
Answer any immediate questions the patrons have.
Understand the seating arrangements and timing of every table.
Confide in the Managers if problems with coworkers or guest arise.
Knowledge of all menu items including any specials.
Assist front of house staff when necessary.
Keep menus clean, fresh looking, and up to date.
Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
Ensure that all Guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always.
