About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host to join our team. The Host will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, loves serving guests, and values teamwork.

Requirements

• Valid Fayette County Food Handler's Card is required before start date.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Having a good sense of urgency is required.
• Excels in a fast-paced environment and handles stressful situations well.
• Positive attitude.
• Loves serving guests, helping others, and values teamwork.
• Ability to commute to Lexington, KY 40509 (Required).
• Ability to relocate to Lexington, KY 40509 before starting work (Required).

• Restaurant experience (Preferred but not needed).

Responsibilities

• Provide each arriving guest with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Treat all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction, always striving to exceed expectations.
• Run the floor plan board on Open Table.
• Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
• Take guest information and quote wait times accurately when tables are not immediately available.
• Clean, organize, and sanitize menus at the host area.
• Answer the phone and answer questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
• Interact with guests as they arrive and leave to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Fill to-go orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain restrooms throughout the shift.
• Sweep foyer and front entrance area frequently.
