About The Position

Responsible for assisting the manager in seating and having a flawless level of communication with the guests prior to and during the dining experience.

Requirements

• Must be able to use or operate the POS system (opening checks, closing checks) as well as Open Table.
• Must enter all information correctly in the reservation system.
• Manage reservations communication prior to service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the door of the restaurant.
• Ask guests if they are hotel guests or walk-ins before seating them.
• Use or operate the POS system (opening checks, closing checks) as well as Open Table.
• Enter all information correctly in the reservation system.
• Manage reservations communication prior to service.
• Inform the appropriate server about the table after seating a guest.
• Help in cleaning, re-stocking, set-up or breakdown whenever needed.
• Act as the manager's eyes in their absence (Check the music, lights, tables, chairs and other items that may affect guest's service in any way).
• Perform other tasks as required.
