Accountable for financial, employee, and guest service goals of the department. Work areas include office, parking lot, lobby and on hill ski or riding.
Requirements
- Experience in supervising people
- High School graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to effectively communicate to guests, employees and management.
- Ability to perform under pressure and with deadlines and solve problems using common sense and department policy.
- Must have computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
- High level of emotional intelligence and strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a strong customer service orientation
- Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, shoveling snow, and working in varying weather conditions, including direct sun and adverse weather
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in a ski resort setting

Responsibilities

- Responsible for coaching, measurement and recognition of employee performance – including seasonal performance reviews.
- Proven leadership experience in managing employees and fostering teamwork
- Ability to effectively resolve guest concerns and maintain a positive atmosphere
