About The Position

Coordinates activities of dining room personnel to provide fast and courteous service to patrons.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
• Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area.
• Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10 key adding machine, PC computers, fax machine, and photocopier.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the initial reception to all guests upon arrival. Verifies reservations, when required, before seating guests.
• Escorts guests to the table and provides food and wine menus.
• Seats all stations in order or rotation to ensure fairness and maximum service to guests.
• Coordinates with servers and bussers to assure availability of tables for our guests.
• Inspects podium for cleanliness, organization, and par levels of all supplies to be used during the course of the shift.
• Inspects and wipes down all menus at the end of each shift and replaces the inserts when necessary.
• Works well with other restaurant employees to promote teamwork oriented atmosphere.
• Works closely with Casino and Slot Hosts to ensure excellent guest service.
