About The Position
The Host Person is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for welcoming them, seating them, and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role involves collaborating with servers to provide attentive service and assisting the cashier with payment processing. The ideal candidate is friendly, attentive, and eager to contribute to a smooth and enjoyable dining operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or relevant hotel/field experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.

- Demonstrated initiative.
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Ability to assimilate and analyze complex information from various sources and adapt as needed.
- Competence in understanding financial data and performing basic arithmetic functions.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, making them feel welcome and valued.
- Manage reservations and table assignments efficiently.
- Collaborate with servers to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Assist the cashier with payment processing and tip management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Participate in training sessions and take on new tasks to develop skills.
- Demonstrate teamwork and trustworthiness in all interactions.
