About The Position

Responsible for providing excellence in service. Greets customers as soon as they walk up, provides patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods, and maintains a neat, organized front-of-house environment. Seats guests and takes initial drink orders as needed to ensure ideal speed of service. Assists with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed. Learns food and beverage menu. Rotates seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for waitstaff. Answers phones and schedules reservations with large parties. Relays any guest compliments and complaints to the appropriate supervisor. Collects proper payment for paid show. Checks reservations and seats guests in a courteous and friendly manner. Reports to work on time, as scheduled, in proper uniform with nametag, and with a positive and cooperative attitude ready to serve the guests. Handles cash, makes proper change, and closes out the check. Held accountable for cash drawer and all variances. Performs other duties as assigned.
