Requirements

• Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to track table turnover, server workloads, and party sizes at the same time.
• Ability to stay calm, polite, and efficient in a fast-paced or crowded environment.
• Comfortable multitasking and coordinating with servers and kitchen staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and offer a friendly goodbye as they leave.
• Assign tables fairly among servers, escort guests to their seats, and provide menus.
• Manage reservations and waitlists, including answering phone calls, scheduling bookings, and giving accurate wait time estimates.
• Address initial guest questions about the menu and handle basic concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Keep the host stand and entryway clean, organized, and stocked with menus.
