The role involves guiding guests, assisting them as needed, and organizing seating for groups with special requirements. Additionally, the Host or Hostess monitors the dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being. The position requires adherence to all company and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and completing necessary training. Maintaining a professional appearance, confidentiality, and protecting company assets are also key. The Host or Hostess must welcome guests according to company standards, communicate professionally, answer telephones courteously, and foster positive working relationships with colleagues to achieve common goals and uphold quality standards. Physical demands include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Other duties may be assigned by Supervisors.
