About The Position

Roth SocialHouse in Turlock, CA is looking to hire a part-time Hostess / Host to greet guests as they enter our restaurant and then show them to their table or the waiting area. This part-time entry-level position earns a competitive wage of $16.90 per hour plus tips. Requirements

Restaurant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet guests over the phone or when they arrive at the restaurant.
Welcome everybody with a smile as soon as they walk in.
Communicate wait times clearly.
Escort guests to their table as soon as it is ready, handing out menus and answering any questions they have.
Address complaints or concerns with patience and empathy, bringing them to the attention of management when necessary.
Count the money in the cash drawers to ensure the amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Using the point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately ring up customer orders.
Calculate total payments received during a time period and reconcile this with total sales.
Bid leaving guests a happy farewell and insist they come to visit again.
