About The Position

Enchantment is seeking an outgoing, energetic, passionate, and authentic individual to join their team as a Host/Hostess. The role involves creating and delivering extraordinary experiences for guests and team members in a fast-paced, collaborative, inclusive, and engaging culture with a beautiful view. The Host/Hostess will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, answering the telephone, taking reservations, and occasionally assisting with In-Room Dining orders.

Requirements

Outgoing, energetic, passionate, and authentic personality.
Ability to arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready for work.
Uniform must be neat and pressed.
Proficient and professional manner in making reservations.
Knowledge of basic items on all menus and wine lists.
Ability to keep workstation clean at all times.
Ability to read all memos.
Ability to answer telephones properly.
Proficient operation of ResPak.
Positive and professional attitude towards guests and co-workers.
Ability to report to Restaurant Manager before ending work shift.
Ability to act as an ambassador of Enchantment by speaking positively of the Resort at all times.
Ability to foster a work environment of teamwork and mutual service by assisting co-workers and other departments as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
Ability to take orders for In-Room Dining in a complete and timely fashion as necessary.
Knowledge of resort layout.
Ability to work efficiently and as a team.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in the dining room.
Answer the telephone and take reservations in a professional and courteous manner.
Occasionally back up In-Room Dining by taking orders.
Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready for work.
Collect and set up any necessary equipment to perform job.
Make floor plans.
Complete all opening and closing side work duties.
Make reservations for guests in a proficient and professional manner.
Know basic items on all menus and wine lists.
Keep workstation clean at all times.
Read all memos.
Answer telephones properly.
Operate ResPak in a proficient manner.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests and co-workers.
Report to Restaurant Manager before ending work shift.
Act as an ambassador of Enchantment by speaking positively of the Resort at all times.
