To perform a wide range of service skills from dishes to the serving line. This role involves assisting others in maintaining a clean facility, setting up work areas for operation, stocking nutritional areas, tray-line, and cafe. The Host/Hostess will perform cleaning tasks based on schedule and daily assignments, stack and maintain storage of supplies, and be able to serve on the patient tray line or cafeteria line. Responsibilities also include operating cash registers, recording charges, assuring a safe work environment, and following infection control guidelines. The position assists in catering functions by setting china, linens, and chaffers, adheres to WRMC’s Dress Code Policy, and provides good customer service to patients by delivering trays/snacks. The role also requires running dishes through a dish machine, learning temperature requirements, operating the dish machine, and operating 3 compartment sinks. Other duties may be assigned by supervision.
