About The Position

Nacho Daddy is a Modern Mexican restaurant founded in 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our goal is to give nachos the respect they deserve - taking them from appetizers to entrees. We serve gourmet nachos smothered in queso and salsa made fresh daily, and we guarantee you'll never find a dry chip! We also offer breakfast/brunch at certain locations, tasty Mexican-American dishes, and a full vegan menu. Don't forget to try our house-made specialty drinks, including our Award-winning "Daddy's Margarita", or our world-famous Scorpion Shot.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A current Food Handler’s Safety Card and TAM Card.
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, hospitality, or food service experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
• Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and converse comfortably with guests in English.
• Accurate math/cash handling skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk long distances for at least 8 hours with minimal break time in fast-paced, crowded and noisy work environments.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
• At times, must be able to lift at least 30 pounds off the ground.
• Open availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Naturally friendly, outgoing, and engaging.
• Experience using OpenTable or similar restaurant reservation software.
• Able to multitask and maintain focus in a busy, energetic environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Prior customer service or restaurant host experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage the waitlist.
• Seat guests efficiently and manage table turnover.
• Answer phone calls and manage reservations.
• Assist server assistants with reasonable requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand.
