About The Position

This position is responsible for greeting guests at the door, seating and presenting clean menus to guests in a friendly, professional, and quick manner. The role involves managing guest flow, ensuring a positive dining experience, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host area and surrounding restaurant spaces. The Host/Hostess will also handle side work and interact with guests throughout their visit.

A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Greeting guests at the door and seating them.
Presenting menus to guests and informing them of specials.
Managing the waiting list and quoting wait times.
Operating the floor plan board.
Observing tables to track clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
Cleaning and wiping down tables.
Cleaning, organizing, and stocking menus at the host area.
Performing various side work projects such as replacing ketchup bottles, cleaning windows, and sweeping floors.
Interacting with guests upon arrival and departure to ensure a positive dining experience.
Maintaining restrooms by refilling paper towels and hand soap.
Folding t-shirts and organizing merchandise.
Reporting to work in a neat and clean uniform with proper grooming and hygiene.
Adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
Attending required meetings.
